When the knob is out, it serves as a handle to open & close the cabinet or drawer. It locks closed when the knob is pushed in. The knob and trim ring is highly polished solid cast 304 stainless steel that looks great in any interior. Fits doors 5/8″ to 7/8″ thick, the trim ring and guide on the case require a 1″ diameter hole. Mounts with 2 #6 screws (not included)
